I thought I would always want to do separate birthday parties for the kids but this year has been busy and the kids seemed excited about having a party together so we just did one. Murphy turned 2 and Tennyson turned 4. Murphy wouldn’t smile for most pictures but she seemed to have a lot of fun! Tennyson loved every minute of the day.
It was so fun to have a backyard full of friends and kids running around. We found an expedited way to do the tie dye process (hint: microwave it) so everyone could make their own tie dye project and take it home an hour later instead of letting the dye sit in a bag overnight. It worked out better than we had expected and the mess was fairly contained!
Christine made the adorable (and delicious) cake. I made the mistake of ordering cake pops and cupcakes from a random bakery and they were not cute. But the kids didn’t care 🙂
All three of the kids’ preschool teachers came and it made the kids feel so loved. We are so lucky to have them as our kids’ teachers!
I found a large microwave on FB marketplace for $20 and it worked perfectly. We decided to make this tie dye thing an annual event so now the microwave is in the shed waiting for next year.
Thank you to all of our friends who joined the party!
