Crater Lake

We’ve been camping and rafting before but this is the first time we have ever done it alone. Thank goodness for Labor Day so we could have a long weekend to run around. I don’t remember if our friends were out of town or if we just decided to go on a whim but I’m grateful we had a weekend together. It was beautiful, fun and entertaining navigating the roads, river and camp sites together.

It only took a bathing suit, thermal onesie, fleece, down jacket and dry suit to keep me warm on the water. Lucas wore neoprene shorts and a dry top.

We may be smiling but we were shivering from the 40 degree wind! The view from the rim is majestic but unbelievably cold!

I’m unsure about a lot of things in life, but one thing I know for certain is Lucas and I are meant to be together. There is no one I’d rather adventure with : )
