Saturday we finally checked berry picking off of our summer to-do list! Our neighbors told us the best local berry farm is Rowell Bro’s so we went there. We don’t have anything to compare it to, but we loved it! The farm is huge and the berries are delicious and cheap. They charge $1.25/lbs of berries. We picked a ton and we only spent $4. The heat was pretty brutal, even at 10 am, but the experience overall was great! 
After berry picking, the eight of us had aebleskivers (Danish pancake balls) for lunch! It had been so long, I forgot how yummy they are! Especially with fresh berries : )
Thanks to the heat and no ac in our apartment, we napped after lunch instead of working on our weekend projects. They’ll get done next weekend. Haha hopefully.
My boss has season tickets to the Portland Thunder arena football games but is out of town this weekend so he offered me his tickets. Don’t mind if I do! We went to Sizzle Pie for pizza before the game then picked up family, Lucas’ brother Dillon and his girlfriend Alyssa. None of us had ever been to an arena football game before so it was fun to see something new! Plus, the Thunder beat the L.A. Kiss, 44 to 30 and we got free t-shirts!
