I started this blog as a platform to document our life and lately I’m doing a pretty lame job because I can’t find the time. I blame school, work, mono and the two huge projects that Lucas and I are tackling right now. My project is a local fashion show. Right now I want to tell you about the project Lucas is working on because it is great!
Lucas and his friend Taylor have created this beautiful wood tie clip and cufflink set.
This picture looks like I stole it from an online menswear boutique, right? Thanks to a friend with a super fancy camera, excellent eye and studio equipment resources we have as students, this is a Lucas Taylor original photo.
It has been so much fun to watch these guys make an idea come to life. From hand making the first clip, to photo shoots, video shoots, manufacturing decisions and everything else it has been an adventure. I just want credit for helping shoot the video : )
Although I think this tie clip is beautiful, I am more excited about the mission this soon-to-be-business represents: to inspire men to live a more sophisticated life, not only in style but in the way they approach life.
