Oregon summers are magical. There are so many wonderful things that grow well here. Between fruits and flowers it feels like every week something new is in season. June in a great time to visit a lavender farm.
I’ve been to a few and my favorite is Mountainside Lavender. Not only is the field dreamy because it’s surrounded by evergreens, but the farm sells large, super tall bundles of lavender for $6. Or you can cut your own for a little less. The farm is on a family’s residential property so I day dream about living there and running the summer lavender stand every time I go. ?
Last time we took Tennyson to a flower field he loved looking for bees so to get him excited about where we were going we asked, “Do you want to go see lavender and bees?” And he said, “yeah, please!” : )
We have no idea when baby girl is coming but we know it’s soon so it was nice to capture this moment in time with just us 3 before we become a family of four. So crazy! I still can hardly believe it’s true!
6 days until my due date (July 9th). 39 weeks.
☀️ I feel so blessed to call this happy boy my son. I hope his little sister shares his red hair and happy personality.
Us trying to get Tennyson to stop picking his nose quickly became a game. Here is the progression of events.
Letting Tennyson play with the camera remote was a good call. He LOVED it so he was more cooperative for photos and he got some fun gems like this close up of Lucas. Win, win!
