My favorite use of Facebook is following local farms so I’m updated when their seasons start. Hoffman farms, our favorite strawberry picking (and strawberry milkshake) destination opened on Friday. So we went on Saturday : )
I also enjoy that both Facebook and Instagram show you the posts you posted on this day last year. Apparently we’ve gone to this strawberry farm this very weekend for the last 3 years! Last year at the farm I was 9 months pregnant and this year we have an almost 1 year old kid. I’m so happy we get to share our favorite parts of the PNW with Tennyson.
We took these delicious berries home and used them as toppings for home made crepes. SO yummy. Not quite as good as the fresh strawberry milkshake they serve at the farm… but still super good!
